We as Friends exist in community with a global network of meetings, worship groups, and communities of action. In this walk, we seek to model and acknowledge the challenges of maintaining sustained political and anti-authoritarian action in the United States in 2026. We recognize a coming era of inter-dependence, which exists across a cultural threshold that must be crossed with faith instead of fear. Our common resource in the ongoing struggle to root down oppression is that of community and intuition - expressed most energetically as public witness. We seek to encourage communities to recognize leadings and other rising light that exemplifies gifts of creativity and experimentation, thereby creating structure to support resilience and faith in the days to come.
